Horses in Blönduós

All of the Icelandic horses are wonderful, and one of these days I'll get to go on a ride with this herd here in Blönduós.  Until then, I just enjoy seeing them grazing in the field, being the happy horses they are.  This was a particularly exciting spotting because apparently a few of the horses wandered out of their pasture and were over by the farmer's house.  He or she handled it by herding them with their car.  It seemed like something out of a movie and was quite effective.  Moments later the horses were all happily snacking where they were supposed to be.  I wonder if these horses have any concept of how beautiful their home is.  I bet they're mostly concerned with how delicious the grass tastes.
